Where a total of 122 people will be appointed for these two posts of security inspector and security guard. 110 men will be recruited and 10 women will be recruited for the post of security guards. The post of Security Inspector does not mention the number of men and women separately. That means anyone can get this post based on merit. Both men and women can apply. Application Procedure

• Interested candidates should apply through the “Online Application Form” available at the DESCO website (www.desco.gov.bd).
  A scanned photograph, signature, latest educational qualification, and copy of experience certificate (if applicable) should be uploaded along with the online application form. Instructions displayed on the DESCO website should be duly followed for filling out the application form.
• This recruitment will be conducted in the light of Outsourcing Recruitment Policy-2023 of Dhaka Electric Supply Company (DESCO) Limited and related terms and conditions. which is provided on the DESCO website.
• Applicants are requested to read Dhaka Electronic Supply Company (DESCO) Limited’s Outsourcing Recruitment Policy-2023 and related terms and conditions carefully before applying.
• Affidavit for proof of age is not acceptable.
• Application fee of Tk 500 has to be paid through Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited’s mobile banking service “Rocket” following the guidelines displayed on the DESCO website.
• Last date for payment of the online application form and fee is 26/06/2023 till 12:00 PM.

Monthly salary amount

The pay scale for the post of Security Inspector has been fixed at Rs.27,000
And, the salary scale for the security guard post is fixed at Rs.18,000.

Qualifications Candidates will need to apply for the post of Safety Inspector.

• Educational Qualification: Minimum HSC pass or equivalent.
• Must have a National Identity Card/Citizenship Certificate.
• Age: 18 years to 55 years (age limit 47 years at the time of application).
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches.
• Weight: Minimum 55 kg and maximum according to BMI (Body Mass Index).
• Medical Qualification: Must be in good health and the shortlisted candidate will have to pass the medical examination conducted by the Retainer Doctor appointed by DESCO.
• Retired minimum JCO rank officer from Army, Navy, Air Force, BGB, Police/Prison Guards, and Ansar forces or having minimum 3 years working experience as an officer in a reputed security service provider.
• Previous service records should be good and relevant authority certificates should be submitted.
• Must be competent in providing and conducting safety training.
• The security inspector should be proficient in riding a motorcycle and should have a driving license.

Qualifications Candidates will need to apply for the post of security guard

• Educational Qualification: Minimum HSC pass or equivalent.
• Must have a National Identity Card/Citizenship Certificate.
• Age: 18 years to 50 years (age limit 35 years at the time of application).
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches.
• Weight: Minimum 55 kg and maximum according to BMI (Body Mass Index).
• Height in Females: 5 feet.
• Weight in Females: Minimum 50 kg and maximum according to BMI (Body Mass Index).
• Medical Qualification: Must be in good health and the shortlisted candidate will have to pass the medical examination conducted by the Retainer Doctor appointed by DESCO.
• Must be proficient in writing, reading, and speaking Bengali.
