Comptroller of Accounts (Revenue)-Department of Preliminary (MCQ) Exam Result and Written (CQ) Exam Schedule Released for Various Posts-2023
Comptroller of Accounts (Revenue) Department under Ministry of Lands has passed the preliminary examination for the post of Grade 4 Grade-20: Office Assistant, Grade 3 Grade-16: Office Assistant-cum-Computer Numerologist and Grade 3 Grade-11: Auditor (Revenue). Written examination of the candidates will be held on 16-06-2023 every Friday at 10-00 AM at Siddheshwari Girls College, Bailey Road, Dhaka.
Number of candidates who passed the preliminary examination:
- 576 people in office assistant posts
- 648 people in Office Assistant-Cum-Computer Numerical
- 832 people in Auditor (Revenue)
Candidates will bring the Admit Card of the Preliminary Exam to participate in the written exam.

Introduction:
Comptroller of Accounts (Revenue) Department is the internal audit body of Ministry of Lands. As there is no involvement of the head of this office with the public, they have no opportunity to provide services directly. However, the institution has been playing a leading role in saving government money by preventing wastage of government money and controlling expenditure through audit, which is directly and indirectly engaged in the service of government, country and people.

According to the Zamindari Acquisition and Tenancy Act, 1950, the Comptroller General of Accounts expressed incompetence in conducting an audit to supervise and ensure the collection of revenue and its deposit in the government treasury. The Office of the Comptroller of Accounts (Revenue) was established as an internal audit agency.
